- Operation Helping Hand is hosting a fundraiser on April 28 at Boston's, 9316 Anderson Road, to help seriously wounded members of the military. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Call 813-901-9590 to make a reservation.
- Mark your calendar for May 7. The Tampa Bay Professional Organizers association will be hosting a SHRED-A-THON from 9 a.m. until noon. For a $5 per box donation to the MacDonald Training Center for people with disabilities, you can bring boxes of paper that are taking up space in your house. The truck will be at the corner of Fletcher Avenue and N. Dale Mabry Highway.
