Here are five things you can do or learn more about today:

  • If you're looking for some networking opportunities and a new place to grab lunch, stop by the Jerk Hut, 926 E. Fowler Avenue for the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce luncheon from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. today. The cost is $12 per person, regardless of whether you eat lunch.
  • Having trouble managing your money? A free budgeting class will be held today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at 8412 N. 12th Street. Call ahead to 813-936-3067 to reserve a seat or learn more about the class.
  • Got a teenager who wants something fun and environmentally-safe to do? A class called "Just Tape It" that is geared toward kids in grades 6-12 is being held today at 6 p.m. at the Jimmie Keel Regional Library, 2902 W. Bearss Avenue. Learn how to make things like wallets and handbags using common items like newspaper and duct tape. 
  • Hungry? Head to Sushi Alive, 15451 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Northdale, for some freshly-made rolls.
