Here are five things you can do or learn more about today:
- Check out the schedule at the Bob Sierra YMCA, which offers summer camp and other programs for kids. Don't forget that the water park is now open for the summer, too.
- Stop by the Bearss Groves farmer's market, 14316 Lake Magdalene Boulevard. Hours are 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. Grab some freshly made tangerine juice while you're there.
- Finally, check out a few programs offered by the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library today. The library is located at 2902 W. Bearss Avenue. The first program: "Abstract Expressionism," an art display by artist James Brown, is on display all day.
- Story Time starts at 11 a.m. today in the children's department for the little ones.
- At 11:30 a.m. today, Wee Artists begins. Help your pre-schooler work on an arts and crafts project.
