- Funeral services for Tampa Bay Buccaneer and Pro Hall of Famer Lee Roy Selmon will be held at 10 a.m. at Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz. Patch will be there. - Mark your calendars for the Carrollwood Cultural Center's dedication to Mary Ann Scialdo, who died in July. The center's stage and center will be named in her honor. The event will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
- Finally, stop by Carmel Cafe on Sept. 13. The restaurant plans to feature "Mod Med" cuisine.
