Five Things To Know on Tuesday, May 24, from Networking Events to Money Matters

Here are five things you can do or learn more about today:

  • Mark your calendars for a networking event on Wednesday morning. The North Tampa Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Chamber Chatter Connections event from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Pilot Bank, 2901 E. Fowler Avenue. The event is open to the public and free or charge. RSVP to Nalini Gajadharshingh at 813-349-4570.
  • The first of two budget workshops will be held today from 10 a.m. until noon at Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, 14901 Crisis Center Plaza. The event is open to the public, but call ahead to reserve your seats at 813-264-9949. The second class will be held on May 31. Find out more here.
  • If you consider yourself to be an artsy senior, stop by an art class that allows you to paint or make crafts. The class starts at 10 a.m. today at the Northdale Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive in Northdale. The cost is $8. Find out more here.
  • Register your teen for the Teen Leader's Club at the Bob Sierra YMCA in Northdale, 4029 Northdale Boulevard. The club is for teens aged 13 through 18, and offers fun activities and exercise. The club meets at 7 p.m. Find out more here.
