Here are five things you can do or learn more about today:

  • Evolution Yoga, 4802 Gunn Highway, is offering several classes beginning 9:30 a.m. including Warm 60, a yoga class in a 90 degree room for just one hour. Learn more here.
  • Want to start 2012 with a new pet? National Humane Society has cats and kittens ready for adoption. Learn more here.
  • Don’t know how to swim? Carrollwood Village Swim Team offers private 30 minute lessons Monday through Thursday. Session cost is $90 member/$99 non-member. Find out more here.
  • Chamberlain High School, 9401 N. Boulevard, is hosting a free jewelry-making class at 6:00 p.m.
