County Hosting Public Meeting on Intersection Improvements

The meeting will be held on Monday

If you're familiar with the traffic issues at the intersection of North Lakeview Drive South and North Dale Mabry Highway just north of Gaither High school, mark your calendars for an upcoming meeting sponsored by Hillsborough County officials.

The meeting to discuss proposed improvements at the intersection will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Northdale Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive, in the multi-purpose room.

The proposed improvements include: The addition of two westbound left turn lanes and a modified right turn lane to a shared through right turn lane, construction of bicycle lanes and sidewalks, new traffic signals and poles, street lighting modifications, re-paving, and closure of the median closest to the intersection.
