Circus, CSI and Crocheting Part of Library Events

Find out what's going on at the North Tampa branch library

The North Tampa branch of the library system is offering a number of free programs this summer for kids and adults.

The library, 8916 N. Boulevard in Tampa, is open from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesdays from noon until 8 p.m. and Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Here's a rundown of a few upcoming programs:

  • The Tricky Dogs Show will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28. The show includes tricky dogs, and is for ages 5-12.
  • Crocheting, Knitting and Weaving will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursdays. The event features tips and ways to create garments for charity or gifts.
  • Crime Scene Investigation will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, and will include a guest speaker.
  • Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, featuring stories, rhymes and songs.
  • Computer Tutoring will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 11, and will answer basic computer questions such as using Microsoft Office 2010 programs.
