Bus Driver Arrested, Harlem Globetrotters, Halloween Fun: Carrollwood Patch Week in Review

A look back at the week that was...

  1. It was a busy political week in Tampa Bay. President Barack Obama made an appearance in Ybor City on Thursday. Carrollwood resident Missy Keller was on hand for his speech representing herself and the Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association.
  2. The kids over at Citrus Park Elementary saw a tall dose of red, white and blue this week when a Harlem Globetrotter paid a visit to the kids to spread an anti-bullying message.
  3. Looking for a little Halloween fun? Head over to Citrus Park Mall where they'll be hosting a trick-or-treat for kids 12 and under throughout the mall on Halloween night.
  4. Want to avoid long lines on election day? Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections announced early voting has begun throughout the county. Read this story to find out where to go cast your vote early.
  5. A Carrollwood bus driver was arrested after pushing a special needs child off the bus. The 8-year-old girl with special needs slapped and pushed the bus driver before being ejected from the bus.
