Now that the weekend is finally here, check out five events that are going on in the area through Sunday.
- The Guzman Law Group is donating free turkeys to families in need at noon today. The business is located at 8301 N. Dale Mabry Highway.
- Northdale's "Musical Picnic in the Park" will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Northdale Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive. Bring a picnic chair, family and friends to enjoy a live band at the event. Bonus: It's free.
- Stop by "Girls Night Out," an all-female comedy show at 8 p.m. today at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road.
- Carrollwood VillageFest will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Parking is $2 per car at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.
- Finally, take your puppy to a training class at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Groovy Cats & Dogs. Find out more here.
