Local residents stopping to get lunch or a snack last weekend got quite a surprise when they spotted a celebrity here in Carrollwood.
Since he stands 6'3" tall and weighs over 230 pounds, he likely stood out even without such a recognizable face.
Former University of Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow stopped in the PDQ at 12650 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood on March 16.
Tebow stopped in to eat some grilled chicken tenders, according to Jeffrey Kamis, chief marketing and public relations officer for PDQ.
"It wasn't too crowded at the time," Kamis said. "He took photos and signed autographs."
The photo of Tebow on the PDQ Facebook page had over 200 likes.
