Sports Health Expert Joins Blast Fitness

Phillip Snyder, a doctor of chiropractic medicine, has joined the team at 6902 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa.

Snyder graduated from Life University, cum laude, and has worked with elite athletes, both professional and Division I, Olympic medalists, runners, rugby players, golfers, swimmers, triathletes, National Football League, National Basketball League and Major League Baseball players. 

He specializes in identifying and correcting problems associated with posture and movement. 

Snyder also holds a master’s degree in sport health science with an emphasis on sport injury management. This includes extensive training in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. He incorporates this training into a concept of structure and function, treating muscle imbalances and the kinetic chain while using various methods of rehabilitation.
