Pre-Show Wine Tastings at Cultural Center

This just in from the Carrollwood Cultural Center:

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is teaming up with Time for Wine to offer pre-show wine tasting packages before specific events in the Center’s fall entertainment schedule.  

Time for Wine, a bronze corporate member of the Center, offers products produced by small family-owned wineries located throughout Europe and the United States.

Each pre-show tasting will include a selection of wines that will fit the theme of the evening’s entertainment. Pre-show wine packages will be available before the following events. The package includes admission for one to the wine tasting and the show.

Participants must be 21 or older to attend the wine tastings.  

A NIGHT AT THE POPERA

Saturday, September 15 (wine tasting at 6:30pm, performance at 8pm)About the Show: A concert of romantic love songs with vocalists Jolanda Nel, Clint Shephard, Lisa King and Chris Romeo. Wine Tasting and Performance Package (available until September 12): $23 members / $26 non-membersPerformance Only: $15-$20 

MUSIC REBORN

Saturday, November 3 (wine tasting at 6:30pm, performance at 8pm)About the Show: Music Reborn is an educational project focusing on the research, performance, and preservation of music suppressed by the Nazis during the first of the 20th Century. Music Reborn is dedicated to the goal of revisiting a lost generation of composers by preserving and playing their works. Performers include pianist Nancy Rubenstein, violinist Ivan Zenaty and cellist Father Vit Fiala, OFM, cellist. Wine Tasting and Performance Package (available until October 29): $26 members / $30 non-membersPerformance Only: $18-$24 

DANCE & CONCERT featuring the SOUNDS OF SWING

Saturday, December 1 (wine tasting at 6:30pm, performance at 8pm)About the Show: Get into the Swing! The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Sounds of Swing was formed in 2010 by Jim Burge, host of Jazz with Jim and a founding member of the Bay Area Saxophone Quartet. Dance shoes aren’t required to attend this concert…but we guarantee your toes will be tappin’!

Wine Tasting and Performance Package (available until November 26): $19 members / $22 non-members. Performance Only: $11-$16.
