Nicola's Donut Shop Moves

Carrollwood Nicola's Donuts fans, don't be alarmed.

While the store has closed its location at 14390 North Dale Mabry Highway, according to a sign on the door, it isn't gone from Carrollwood forever.

Nicola's donuts are now being sold at The Yogurt Spot, a frozen yogurt shop located at 15006 N. Dale Mabry in Carrollwood.

Frozen Yogurt and doughnuts? It could work.

Nicola's donuts opened its first location in 1982 at 902 W. Busch Blvd. in Tampa. In 2010, they opened a second location at the now closed Dale Mabry shop. But Nicola's donuts being sold in other locations is nothing new.

You can find Nicola's donuts at several gas stations and hospitals in Tampa Bay. A full menu of Nicola's donuts, including favorites like the cinnamon twirl and vanilla iced sprinkle, can all be found at The Yogurt Spot.
