New 'Greener' Publix Coming To Carrollwood

The store will replace an existing Publix in the Village Center strip mall.

If you've been by the Publix located in Carrollwood's Village Center, you've probably seen signage indicating the store will be closing soon for a complete remodel.

Carrollwood Patch caught up with Shannon Patten, spokeswoman for Publix, to get some details on what shoppers can expect in the coming months and when the store is complete.

"This is going to be the perfect location for our Carrollwood customers to explore an array of foods and services in one location," Patten said.
