LifePath Hospice to Benefit from CABA Golf Tourney
More than $50,000 has been donated to charities from previous CABA golf tournaments.
It’s getting tougher in today’s economy to sell golf tournaments to sponsors - even those that donate a portion of the proceeds to worthy charities.
So the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) must be doing a lot of things right as it gets set to host its 11th annual tournament May 23 at TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz.
The benefactor this year will be LifePath Hospice Thrift Stores, which will receive a portion of the proceeds. CABA has donated more than $50,000 through the years to charities, including All Sports Community Service and the Kids of CABA Senior College Scholarships.

Home Instead Senior Care is the lead sponsor, with three more title sponsorships available.
The tournament will follow a scramble format, with registration at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and golf beginning at 1 p.m. Dinner is also included in the $110 registration fee. The cost for a foursome is $400.
Tournament organizers are still seeking golfers (individuals and foursomes), and donations for the silent auction, raffle and goodie bags are still being accepted.
