Construction Under Way Near Whole Foods Market

The county project will be completed before the store opens in Northdale on Nov. 1.

In a few months, Whole Foods Market will open at 3802 Northdale Boulevard near north Dale Mabry Highway.

But before the organic food chain becomes part of north Tampa's business landscape, Hillsborough county workers have a few traffic adjustments to make.

"We're changing median access so traffic can get in and out easier," said county spokesman Steve Valdez of the project.

The construction work, which slowed traffic on Thursday afternoon along Northdale Boulevard, is projected to be completed before the market opens on Nov. 1.
