2012 - Time for Politics Again!

My wife and I have a nice little "Florida Pool Home" in the Northdale area. We keep it up as best we can, and generally enjoy the peace and quiet of our wonderful little neighborhood.

Presidential and all the other "Important 4-year Elections" are on us in LESS THAN 100 DAYS! This blog is not to (necessarily) to stomp for any one person or office on the ballot - but rather to ENCOURAGE you to LEARN ALL YOU CAN about the people who are running, and make decisions based on your own belief systems.

So - WHY did I write this, anyway. Let me explain that I am very active on the internet, and receive information on 'just about everybody who wants your VOTE'.

It matters not whom I have chosen - but it DOES matter who YOU have chosen. I realize that when you enter the VOTING BOOTH, there will (very likely) be a lot of people whose names you have never heard of before - I'm sure the same will happen to me.

All I want to tell you is - do the homework you can, and TRY to become familiar with the candidates - DO THE BEST YOU CAN. I hope that you will apply your most CRITICAL THINKING regarding who YOU want to Govern you for the next few years - who BEST REPRESENTS the direction you want our country, our State, our County, and even our neighborhoods.

I have noted that there are not YET many signs in front-yards declaring choices already made. This brings me to the WHOLE POINT - YOU will decide.

COMPLAINT: I have decided, mostly, who I would like to see elected as President.

I placed a sign in my yard, and no-one seemed to mind - FOR A FEW WEEKS - Then, at the end of last week, someone TORE IT DOWN! Obviously, they did not agree. I have put it back in place, and hope that this was merely a momentary 'bad decision' on someone's part. My little sign will certainly not effect the outcome - but DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY is about MY RIGHTS as an American citizen.

In summary - RESPECT our FREEDOM, for our country has fought long and hard to GET IT and to MAINTAIN IT.
