Volunteers, Water Bottles Needed for Community Art Project

The project will be held on Saturday, June 9

Community Stepping Stones, a Sulphur Springs nonprofit art education program for youth, is building a mosaic mural from plastic flotsam that the group's teens collected during beach clean-ups.

But CSS needs the public's help to build a sea of plastic seaweed chains from over 1,500 plastic bottles.

Volunteers can either bring water and juice bottles to CSS on Saturday, or stop by to pitch in and help bulid the sea from 9 a.m. until noon at 1101 E. River Cove Street.
