'Strings in the Spring' Coming to Cultural Center

The classical music series debuts on March 31

The Carrollwood Cultural Center presents “Strings in the Spring: Duos & Trios” on Saturday, March 31 at 7 p.m.

Principal Florida Orchestra Members Sarah Shellman, a violinist, and cellist James Connors will be joined by pianist Franz Mantini in this classical variety program.

Ms. Shellman and Mr. Mantini will open the program with Beethoven's spirited Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 3 in E flat major. Mr. Connors and Mr. Mantini will then perform the demonic and intriguing Bartok Rhapsody No. 1 for Cello and Piano. The second half of the program will bring all three musicians together for Brahm's Trio #1 in B major.

The Center is located at 4537 Lowell Road.

Advanced day tickets are $14 for members of the Center and $18 for non-members. Day of show tickets are $16 for members and $20 for non-members.
