New Classes at Center Include Oil Painting and Low-Impact Exercise

Life Enrichment Center offers a variety of classes

The Life Enrichment Center is registering for two new classes.

The first one is low-impact exercise. This class will involve cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility, and it will be directed by Cheryl Montgomery, a certified aerobics instructor and personal trainer.

The class meets twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The next class will begin on March 2. The cost is $36 per month, and classes are held at the LEC. Students must pre-register before the first of March by going to www.lifeenrichmenttampa.org or calling 813-932-0241.

The second course being offered is painting in oils. This class will show students how to use oils on different surfaces while working on different theme. Beginners or seasoned artists are welcomed.

This class will meet on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until noon from March 1 through April 5. The cost is $75 for members of the LEC, and $90 for non-members. Annual membership at the LEC is $30.

The class will be taught by Brigette Mailahn.

Class size is limited, and advanced registration is required.
