Life Enrichment Center Registering for Morning Art Class

Class is called "Drawing for Pleasure"

The Life Enrichment Center is registering for new six-week art class for adults called Drawing for Pleasure. 

This class will provide individualized instruction in drawing using graphite, charcoal, ink, pastel and more.

Students will observe still life set-ups, landscapes, and work from photos as they learn to enhance their work using tone, shading and perspective to create dimension.

A short supply list will be provided upon paid registration. features instruction on line, shape, value, texture and color, techniques of shading, perspective and more.  This class will expand your artistic knowledge and skills.  Open to all levels.

Drawing for Pleasure will be held on Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. beginning July 28 through September 1.

Classes meet at the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 North Boulevard, Tampa.  Cost for the course is $75 for members of the Life Enrichment Center, or $90 for non-members.

Annual membership to the Life Enrichment Center starts at $30. 

Well-known artist and instructor Debra Jo Radke will be teaching the course Ms. Radke is a Tampa based painter and printmaker.  Ms. Radke has a M.F.A. from U.S.F. and a B.F.A. from Michigan State University.  Her prize-winning work has been shown in many national and international exhibitions and is held in corporate and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.

Class size is limited and requires advance registration.  There will be no refunds once classes begin.
