Les Paul And Mary Ford Guitar Tribute With Tom Doyle at the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library
Many people have fond memories of browsing between the covers of guitar sheet music. In this program, Tom Doyle traces the 40-year musical history and guitar innovations of Les Paul as well as his legacy in modern music, including the electric guitar and multi-track recording. Doyle and Ford have their own legacy at The Iridium and the Bitter End live music clubs in New York City, and as opening act for Richie Havens, the Lovin' Spoonful, and the Butterfield Blues Band. Funded by the Friends of the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library.
