Classes Begin Next Week for Adults, Kids at Cultural Center

The classes range from zumba to art

New classes ranging from art to Zumba® will start at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, on Monday, February 27.

Classes are available for adults and children in a variety of subjects including art, ceramics, computers, cake decorating, dance, etiquette, fitness, bridge, book binding, piano, guitar, drumming, philosophy, photography, theatre, voice, woodcarving and more. Most classes will start the week of February 27, and run for six weeks. Classes are available Monday through Saturday, throughout the day and in the evening. Tuition ranges from $50 and $175 for the six weeks.

Several classes, like Sampling the Media, are targeted toward beginning students with little or no experience, while other classes like Power Yoga are for students with prior training. Some classes, such as watercolor painting and drumming, follow a specific curriculum spanning several six-week sessions enabling students to naturally progress from beginner to advanced status.

Previous students have showcased their work in the Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center, or have performed on stage at the Center.
