With an impressive 5.09 GPA, there is little doubt that despite the time and dedication required to play on a baseball team, Zachary puts school first.

“It’s something my parents instilled in me,” he says.

Both his father and grandfather instilled in him the love of baseball.

“I started playing when I was 5. I started in Little League, like most kids do, and just stuck with it.”

Zachary describes himself as “light-hearted, funny and outgoing, and respectful to elders and superiors.” He says that he is someone he hopes his friends consider a fun guy to be around.

While balancing school and baseball, Zachary still finds time to be a member of the Parliamentarian Key Club, Athletic Club, Legacy Florida Christian Association, and Senior Class Club.

Zachary explains, “I try to stay involved.”

Zachary is interested in marine science, and hopes to use his degree in marine wildlife and conservation.

Zachary says his key to awesomeness is two things: “Dedication and hard work.”
