Sabrina's Second Shelter Stay

Sabrina is back at the shelter after her previous adoption family didn't claim her back.

Sabrina was adopted, but unfortunately found her way back to the Pinellas County Animal Shelter

The family that lost Sabrina is missing out. She's a cuddly pointer mix who knows commands and loves to play. She's waiting for the right home that will love her as much she loves people.

How to Adopt

Sabrina is ready to go to her forever home. The adoption fee is $35 and includes the first set of shots, spaying or neutering, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog. We've attached an adoption form (PDF) to make it easy.

Adopt Sabrina, and we will feature your photo with your new pet on Patch, too!

How to Help

If you can't adopt, but still want to help, Animal Servces always needs volunteers.

Why is that people do not grasp the concept that adoption is for life. This is not a play thing or article of clothing, this is a living, loving, breathing bundle of joy. I find it horrific that once adopted the pet does not become a member of the family and decisions are made for the good of the whole family! Sabrina needs a loving forever adoption!

if the dog was lost then it is still owned by the owner that it got away from. now if the dog was brought back and put into the dog slot then what does the dog do that people are returning it? but if they have not yet come back to u to find the dog give it a chance to find it. this happens way to often. dogs are adopted before their parents can even find them.
