New Pollo Tropical Restaurant Coming To Carrollwood

The Latin-inspired restaurant replaces Burger King.

A new Pollo Tropical restaurant is being built at the corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Zambito Road.

The restaurant takes the place of the old Burger King, which used to be located in that location. The Burger King was demolished to make way for Pollo Tropical.

The new restaurant will be about 4,000 square feet and include a drive-thru window, according to a construction bid for the building. The restaurant would be located in the Carrollwood Commons shopping center, which includes a Target and DSW.

Pollo Tropical is known for its Latin and Island inspired fast casual food. The menu includes thinks like Mojo Pork and Yuca with Garlic Sauce. To learn more about Pollo Tropical, check out their website.
