Meet Your Audience Engagement Editor In St. Pete

Patch Audience Engagement Editor will hold office hours Thursday at the Starbucks on 4th St North and 8th Ave.

We may not know each other, but I want to get to know you.

Yes, it's all about you, the Patch user who finds that his or her passion lives here on St. Pete Patch.

I'm Charles Schelle, who is taking the role of the Audience Engagement Editor to help you find exciting ways to use our site, highlight your awesome submissions to Patch and if something goes awry with the system, I'm here to help, too. We're trying something new to see how the community responds.

Don't worry—St. Pete Patch Editor William Mansell isn't going anywhere. He is still covering government, schools and countywide issues. You will also see Gulfport Patch Editor Cherlene Willis on St. Pete Patch, too.

I invite you to come say hello and catch me up on all things St. Pete. I'll also be available to show you how to blog on the site, post your calendar events, upload photos and help community organizations and businesses get their message out using Patch.

Meet me from 10 to noon Thursday, Feb. 7 at Starbucks, corner of 4th St North and 8th Avenue.

Let Patch save you time. Get great local stories like this delivered right to your inbox or smartphone everyday with our free newsletter. Simple, fast sign-up here.

Can't make it? I'm available to meet you one-on-one, and I can also host a Web meeting via Join.Me to visually walk you through the site or to help resolve most issues. You can also reach me at 941-525-3192 or e-mail charles.schelle@patch.com.

Or follow me on Twitter @ImYourChuck where I will spout nonsense throughout the day sprinkled with some relevant information.

I'll be in other nearby Patch towns this week, too.

Stay tuned for some exciting new features coming soon to St. Pete Patch.

Until then, tell me in the comments below about the coolest thing about St. Pete I should know or go see. (I'm driving up from Sarasota Patch.)

Hi Charles. Great to have you working on St. Pete PATCH. While you're in town, if get the time, take a drive down 3rd street south, go over the hump, better known as thrill hill, and at the first intersection turn east and take the short trip through Sail Boat Row and the Marine district. It one of St. Pete's neatest boating and yachting areas and home to some really interesting people. If you make to the beach, stop by may favorite beach bar on Sunset Beach KA'TIKI. At the rate the beach is disappearing it may be a water front bar soon. Looking forward to meeting you in person. Doc

Hey I'd love to meet you! Any chance you can pick a non-work hour time? Say something after 5 or on a weekend?

Sure Babak! I'm working on an after-hours blogging event coming soon!
