There's a bonus for those who attend: Dress up as your favorite Hollywood star and you could win a prize.

The event started three years ago, said Shannon May, team supervisor for the City of Tampa's Parks and Recreation department.

May said the idea was to expand the City of Tampa's fundraising efforts with the March of Dimes, which advocates research for premature birth and birth defects. Last year, May said, the breakfast raised $830 for the March of Dimes.

Said May: "It's a fun event, and family-friendly for a great cause, which is to raise money for infants and babies who have health issues and may not otherwise make it without help from the March of Dimes."
