The Life Enrichment Center is registering now for a six week health and weight loss program for adults called G.I.F.T., or Get Into Fitness Today.
Participants will learn how to improve their health by incorporating good nutrition and physical activity into their lifestyles. Weight and body fat (BMI) will be measured weekly and the class will include topics of healthy low-cost meals, menu planning and healthy eating.
Classes will meet on Thursdays, November 3 through December 15, from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Cost for the six week class is $24 for members of the Life Enrichment Center or $30 for non-members. Annual membership starts at $30.
The class will be led by Certified G.I.F.T. Educator Sandy Wehle. The class is sponsored by the Florida Department of Health and the Hillsborough County Health Department. Classes are held at the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 N. Blvd.

Classes are open to adults of all ages. Class size is limited, so advance registration is required.
