Jimmie B. Keel Library Closing For A Week
The library's air conditioner system is being repaired.
The Jimmie B. Keel Library will be closed July 1-5 for replacement of the air conditioning system, according to Hillsborough County.
The library, located at 2902 W. Bearss Ave., closed in late May after a heavy storm. The library is currently being renovated to include an increase of 10,000 square feet to the east side of the building, increasing the children's library area and adding a multi-purpose room.
During the July 1-5 closing, the drive thru window and book drops will be closed.
Carrollwood and Northdale areas residents can use other local libraries in the meantime:
- North Tampa, 8916 North Blvd.
- Lutz, 101 W. Lutz-Lake Fern Road
- Austin Davis, 17808 Wayne Road
