Girl Scout Troop #433 is taking a final step toward receiving their Bronze Award by carrying out a "Take Action" project on Saturday, March 24 in Carrollwood.
The troop - made up of students at Carrollwood Elementary School - is hosting a Pet Safety & Wellness Pet Fair at the Petco in Carrollwood, 13127 N. Dale Mabry Highway. The purpose of the event, which will begin at 10 a.m., is to raise funds for pet oxygen masks that fire rescue vehicles can use, and to bring awarness to issues facing pets.
During the event, the girls from the troop will run carnival games and raffle gift certificates from local businesses. Information will also be distributed about pet safety.
