Free Dance Lessons Available Before Swing Concert

Carrollwood Cultural Center’s Sounds of Swing will play at a dance for singles and couples of all ages on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  A free dance lesson will be given beginning at 6:30 p.m. for anyone interested in brushing up on their skills or learning some new moves.

Jim Burge and company are bringing the swinging sounds once again to the CCC stage. The Carrollwood Cultural Center Sounds of Swing was formed in 2010 by Jim Burge, host of Jazz with Jim and a founding member of the Bay Area Saxophone Quartet. 

A cash bar is available, as well as snacks and light refreshments. 

The cost for the swing concert is $10 for members of the Center and $12 for non-members. The cost increases $2 the day of the show. Call 813-269-1310 for more information.
