- Stop by the Take 2 Lounge at the Tampa Pitcher Show for the Dr. Horrible Sing Along. The show starts at 10:30 p.m. tonight and ends at 1 a.m. at 14416 N. Dale Mabry Highway. The cost is $7.
- Not sure how to use that NOOK you got for your birthday? A class on how to use the device will be held at 9:30 a.m. today at Barnes & Noble, 11802 N. Dale Mabry Highway.
- Celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month by stopping by Lake Park in Lutz, 17302 N. Dale Mabry Highway at Van Dyke Road. The 589-acre park offers everything from an archery range to a BMX bicycle track. Entry is $2 per car, and the park opens at 7 a.m.
- Want to give blood today? A block party/blood donation event will be held today at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 14941 N. Dale Mabry Highway.
