Five Things To Know This Weekend

A digest of what's going on Saturday and Sunday

Still haven’t worked out your weekend plans?

Here are five things you can do or learn more about this weekend in and around Carrollwood:

  • Stop by the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road, for the "Seussical, Jr." performance. The show starts at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. today, and 3 p.m. on Sunday. The cost is $10.
  • The Carrollwood Cultural Center is also exhibiting the artwork of TESA, The Exhibiting Society of Artists along with acrylic and watercolor artist Frank Bolock. TESA promotes original, contemporary art and artists in the community.
  • Grab some fresh fruits and veggies at Bearss Groves farmer's market off Bearss Avenue in Lake Magdalene.
  • Is your dog or cat due for his shots? Visit Pet Supermarket, 11409 North Dale Mabry Highway. The pet store is hosting in-store pet vaccinations from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. The line gets long fast, so you may want to get there early.
  • Join the Melting Pot for their special Flick 'n Fondue menu for $22 per person which includes a movie ticket to an AMC theater.  Guests can choose any two items from the three: cheese fondue, signature salad, and bar drink.
