The airbaked fries and organic burgers were being served up rapidly on Wednesday, July 17 during the grand opening of EVOS Carrollwood.
The restaurant, located at 10205 Lake Carroll Way, is known for its healthy fast food. A steady stream of customers filed into the restaurant throughout the day. A long line formed just after noon during the lunch rush.
"It's been fantastic," said Roland Rafuls, director of operations for EVOS. "We've had steady traffic all day."
EVOs, a Tampa-based franchise, has locations 7 Florida locations including Westshore, St. Petersburg and now Carrollwood. EVOS also has locations in Georgia and North Carolina.
In addition to normal casual food fare including burgers and salads, the restaurant is known for its organic milk shakes and herbal iced tea.
"The best part is you get to eat a meal of burgers and fries and feel great," Rafuls said. "We're feel great food."The Carrollwood store is 2,100-square-feet and features EVOS signature green-and-white modern decor, including sustainable building materials like a wall made of reclaimed sorghum straw.
