Egg Hunt, Family Fun Festival Hop into Northdale

The Northdale Civic Association has packed its calendar with events to celebrate spring.

Northdale residents looking for something to do on the weekends need only look to the civic association’s calendar for ideas as spring makes its official appearance.

First up on the roster of springtime fun is the community’s 11th annual Spring Egg Hunt at Northdale Park, 15550 Spring Pine Drive. This event is set for March 30 and is free for kids 10 and under. The fun starts at 9 a.m. when volunteers start manning a table to enter kids into a chance drawing for prizes that takes place at 10 a.m. The egg hunt begins right after, according to the civic association’s newsletter. Families should bring their own baskets for the hunt.

Ann Frisbie, association president, even said kids could catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny so moms and dads should bring along their cameras.
