‘Badass’ Teachers Are Worried About Education: As week two of the new school year gets under way, teachers across the state and nation are coming together to voice concerns about the tougher Common Core standards being adopted by states across the country. Calling themselves the Badass Teachers Association, the group wants schools to slow down on adoption of the new rules and fears too much testing will diminish creativity.
