DESCRIPTION:Since its founding in 2008\, the Kimoni Duo has been dedicate
 d to performing standard and newly composed literature for harp and flut
 e. Hailed by the local media as &ldquo\;two highly gifted musicians&rdqu
 o\;\, the Duo has performed both in recital and in concert with orchestr
 as throughout the United States and abroad\, touring South America as fe
 atured guest performers of the 25th International Festival of Flutists i
 n 2010. Kimoni is a dynamic and versatile ensemble with decades of combi
 ned professional experience. Its members Monica Hargrave (harp)\, and Ki
 mberly Felder-Scott (flute)\, work hard on their wide-spanning repertoir
 e from Baroque to Contemporary\, Pop to Jazz. Both musicians are classic
 ally trained concert artists in their own right and bring this level of 
 attention to detail\, passion and skill to the Duo&rsquo\;s music. Their
  wide range of music created a colorful palette of musical expressions.A
 bout Monica Hargrave\nMonica Hargrave\, co-founder of Kimoni studied at 
 Oberlin Conservatory of Music with Alice Chalifoux and at Indiana Univer
 sity School of Music with Susann McDonald. She is an active performer an
 d teacher. As a performer\, Ms. Hargrave has traveled the country and ab
 road giving solo recitals. She is the principal harpist with the Albany 
 Symphony Orchestra\, and the professor of harp at the University of Geor
 gia Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Ms. Hargrave is a member of the Americ
 an Harp Society\, The American String Teachers Association\, Sigma Alpha
  Iota\, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.About Kimberly Felder Schott\
 nKimberly Felder Schott\, flutist is an active performer\, National Boar
 d Certified Teacher\, and adjudicator\, and is Chair of the Music Depart
 ment at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. As a performer\, Ms. Scott has 
 traveled the country and abroad as a soloist with orchestras such as the
  Symphony Orchestra of Peru inLima. She is a graduate of theUniversity o
 f Alabama at Tuscaloosa (BM) and Oklahoma State University (MM)\, where 
 she studies with Sheryl Cohen and Jonathan Keeble. Ms. Scott is a member
  of the Music Teachers National Association\, National Flute Association
 \, Alabama Music Teachers Association\, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\,
  Inc. In the spring of 2011\, Ms. Scott released her first solo album of
