FTRI provides free specialized equipment and training to qualified Florida residents who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired. The equipment enables them to place and receive phone calls.

This library branch is located off busy Bearss Avenue. It is part of the regional cooperative of libraries in Hillsborough county. The library offers community rooms for meetings, tutoring and studying, and computers with Internet access for anyone with a library card. The library also offers DVDs that can be rented.
