DESCRIPTION:For the past 12 years in Tampa\, the Red Cross has held the C
 reate your Own Gingerbread Event at the historic University of Tampa. Th
 is unique fundraising event brings together the Tampa community to celeb
 rate the holiday season while supporting the Red Cross. The day not only
  consists of the Gingerbread decorating contest\, but also includes brun
 ch\, holiday shopping with local vendors and fabulous prizes.\nPrizes go
  to the most creative Gingerbread houses and many participants bring ext
 ra decoration &ndash\; and lots of creativity &ndash\; to add a special 
 flare. All proceeds from both events will be used by the Tampa Bay Chapt
 er to support local services such as Disaster Services and Services to A
 rmed Forces.\nThe Tampa event which includes brunch is set for Saturday\
 , December 8th from 9:30 AM &ndash\; 1:30 PM at the University of Tampa&
 rsquo\;s Fletcher Lounge at Plant Hall\, 401 W. Kennedy Boulevard\, Tamp
 a\, FL. The Tampa event will feature vendors for holiday shopping and a 
 gingerbread house decorating demonstration by the Arts Institute of Tamp
 a Culinary Program. Ticket prices are $75 for adults and $50 for childre
