 h eighth grade\, will host an Admissions Open House on Wednesday\, Febru
 ary 20\, 2013\, beginning at 8:30a.m. during which prospective families 
 can become acquainted with the school.\nThe Admissions Open House will b
 egin with an overview of the school conducted by Headmaster Dr. Joyce Bu
 rick Swarzman. Dr. Swarzman will discuss the school&rsquo\;s dynamic aca
 demic curriculum\, as well as its extraordinary fine arts\, sports and t
 echnology programs. She will explain how Corbett Prep balances a nurturi
 ng\, safe and exciting learning environment with high standards and high
  expectations.\nCorbett Prep offers the International Baccalaureate Prog
 ramme at all grade levels beginning at PreK3. Over five semesters\, the 
 school completed training in gifted education masters-level courses thro
 ugh a partnership grant with the University of South Florida College of 
 Education.\nThe Admissions Open House will include a tour of the beautif
 ul\, cypress-covered campus conducted by middle school student &ldquo\;a
 mbassadors.&rdquo\; A light breakfast will be served.
