Local Sweetbay Closing Wednesday, Big Discounts Possible

The stores were originally scheduled to stay open a bit longer.

The closest Sweetbay Supermarkets were supposed to stay open a bit longer. Now, some stores will be closing earlier than expected, according to an article on TBO.com.

Several local Sweetbay Supermarkets were among 33 under-performing stores in Florida scheduled to close in February.

Many stores begain liquidation sales in the last 2 weeks, with some stores offering as much as 50 percent off.

The 4519 Gunn Highway is now scheduled to close on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The other Carrollwood area location at 4519 Gunn Highway, is also scheduled to close on Wednesday, according to the report.

The same store is listed twice in the final paragraph. Which other Sweetbay in Carrollwood is closing? (I'm assuming it's the one on Ehrlich Rd)

Actually, both are closed already. I went by both of them yesterday and they had signs up saying that they closed at 6 on Tuesday.
