Obama Wins Majority of Hillsborough’s Vote
President Barack Obama has carried Hillsborough County for the second election in a row.

The results are in and Hillsborough County has named its choice for the White House. President Barack Obama has taken the county with 52.63 percent of the vote.
A total of 277,432 ballots were cast in Obama’s favor within Hillsborough County. Republican challenger Gov. Mitt Romney came in second with 243,323 ballots cast in his favor, which works out to 46.16 percent.
A total of 527,169 votes were cast in the presidential race in Hillsborough, according to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Election Office.
While Obama won’t gain any precious electoral votes from Hillsborough County alone, he can say he carried the county.
In 2008, Hillsborough voters also chose Obama over Republican challenger John McCain. In that race, Obama took 272,963 votes or 53.05 percent. McCain garnered 49.94 percent or 236,355 votes, according to the supervisor of elections office.
Results are considered unofficial until they are certified by the state of Florida.

I'm laughing to myself right now and so pleased that President Obama won a second term. I noticed sign after sign in the yards of Romney/Ryan supporters and barely any signs for Obama/Biden. Now I know why. Secretly the people without signs planned to vote for Obama's re-election--they just didn't want to draw criticism from their neighbors! The silent (or sign-less) majority has spoken.

Or maybe the Romney supporters snitched the Obama signs like they kept doing at the library when signs were put up at 655 am & were gone gone gone at 7pm.

@rcarol love your comment because I too was a little afraid at first to Put my Obama sign in my yard because so many of my Neighbors were Romney Supporters but eventually I did and I'm glad. @Joyce I thought I was the only noticing the Obama Signs Mysteriously disappearing at the Libary.

One of my Romney neighbors told my neighbor's daughter that her father is a terrorist for supporting Obama. I wonder where a 10 year old got that idea? Must be those progressive parents of hers.

It's such an Oxymoron!! Bush quietly flew the Bin Laden family out of the country the same day our brothers and sisters burned to death in New York city.
