Go Above and Beyond During Random Acts of Kindness Week
There are plenty of ways to spread joy in Carrollwood during RAK week.
Smile at 10 strangers. Let someone go ahead of you in line. Reach out to someone you haven't talked to in a while. Volunteer.
Those are just some of the ideas suggested to mark Random Act of Kindness Week, Feb. 11- 17.
The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation encourages kindness to others 365 days a year, but this week the goal is to go "above and beyond to make others feel special," according to the foundation's website.
In Carrollwood and Northdale, you can sign up to volunteer with the Carrollwood Northdale Area Community Organization
Big or small, kindness begets kindness.
Tweet your random act of kindness stories with hashtag #rakweek to be featured on the foundation's website. You also can post it on the RAK Facebook page.
