This just in from the Carrollwood Area Business Association:
The Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) Community Relations Committee met last week. This committee was formed three years ago with the purpose of raising public awareness of CABA within the community while increasing opportunities for its more than 300 members.
“We will do this through participation in select public, local events as well as extending into various business and professional organizations in the greater Tampa area," said Karla Nielsen, the Community Relations Chairperson.
Wendell Hock, CABA’s President Elect and Board Liaison for the committee, expressed his delight with the “team” and its goals.
“We have an assembly of some of the finest members CABA has to offer who will project the professionalism of the organization,” Hock said.
CABA is a professional business organization that was founded in 1986. Since that time, it has been a vital component of support for local businesses in the community.
The committee, enthused and ready to go, has already begun selecting the events for which, they will be participating on behalf of CABA and its members. Having already participated in Grillsmith’s Tailgate Party in overwhelming numbers, the next planned event is at VillageFest on November 17th.
