Craving a burger?

This month at Burger 21, the Picadillo Perfecto Burger is being featured as the Burger of the Month at the chain's Carrollwood and Westchase locations after Tampa resident Heather Whittaker won a contest allowing her to create her own recipe.

Burger 21's "B Chefy" contest was held in September of last year, and allowed fans to develop their recipes and win $100 in Burger 21 Burger Bucks. Three finalists were chosen by Chef Shan Schaibly, and fans voted for the winner on Burger 21's Facebook page, said Alisha dos Santos, spokeswoman for Front Burner Brands.

Whittaker's burger was inspired by the classic Cuban dish picadillo, and includes plantain chips, arugula, tomato, melted Fontina, avocado aioli and picadillo relish, a blend of onions, peppers, tomatoes, green olives and raisins, dos Santos said.

The burger will be available until Jan. 20.
